NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Dec. 2, 2014 – Elrod Engineering – a leading sign engineering consulting firm – has named Philip Griggs, EI, as Project Engineer.
As project engineer, Griggs will be responsible for structural design, drafting and field inspections for Elrod Engineering.

Griggs, a recent civil engineering graduate of Tennessee Technological University and a Tennessee registered Engineer Intern (EI), previously served as a senior security analyst for Morris Service Corp., and has worked for Boles Construction, and as an elevator mechanic’s assistant at Automatic Elevator. He is also a former member of the Army National Guard, where he maintained cannon and rocket operating systems on the Cobra Attack Helicopters. Griggs graduated with an engineering degree from Tennessee Tech in 2014, where he was a member of the Tau Beta Pi engineering honor society.
